When I looked all around

I started out looking one day at my life, when I looked behind me I saw all the things that had happened in my life, the good the bad the sad and the happy I saw them all and I found great joy in remembering all those things which I had experienced with you

Now I look left and then right and I see you are nowhere to be found. You were my constant walking partner you were my constant friend you were the guide when I needed it and I was your guide when you needed it. We were as one. And now I am alone

Now I look ahead and I am not able to see that which lies in front of me I can not see where the road goes now because you are not there to walk with me

Then I look up and I see you smiling down on me and I find comfort because I know you can see further down the road as you are looking down on my life and you can see the turns and the potholes

Then I looked down at my feet and they were walking along the road. However when I looked closer they were not my own feet but they were your feet and I knew then I had not lost you. I just gained a higher view of the road ahead and that you would guide me and walk for me when I didn’t think I would make it any further I love you forever I will never forget you are looking down on me I will never forget you will never stop caring or stop watching over me. And I find comfort in these things

What is Christmas?

Christmas is the time of year to be with those you love; for sights and smells for jingle bells; the shining star above; for ice and snow, for mistletoe; for trees in all their splendor; for many toys for girls and boys; for love so warm and tender. But most of all I do recall, we celebrate the season to honor Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, yes that is the reason!

Light of night shine down on this winter eve light of night light of Christmas light of lights that flash and blink and twinkle chase and dance Lights of the Christmas tree do I watch for they hold the mystery of the Christmas bright.

Floating on the air floating on the breeze floating in the chill floating through the night floating with those just like me but not just like me for all are different none the same we all have our own shape. Floating soft floating far floating I fall. I fall down I fall toward I fall now on the air so crisp and clean floating toward some black hole of a cave with rocks to guide its entrance tight floating I fall no stopping me now I fall I fall floating into the nothingness of the cave watch it close watch it move watch it smile a childish delight for I am a snow flake caught in a child’s mouth tonight
